"Common heritage, common connections and common concerns"

Résumé:

The talk will provide highlight our rich archaeological resource along the Atlantic fringe. This will include threatened sites along the
coastline and particularly exposed sites underwater. This includes lost shipwrecks and drowned landscapes that were occupied 8,000 years ago.
The Maritime Archaeology Trust is working with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in France and the University of Cantabria in Spain on a European project funded through Creative Europe called Common Cultural Connections (CCC’s). The initiative aims to enhance understanding of our shared cultural heritage.
